BS Mass Communication

Introduction

The environment of mass media has changed. The boundaries between mainstream media suchas newspaper, radio, and television, and the online media are becoming blurred. Our programwill prepare students to enter this new integrated media in a globalized world. BS (Hons.) Mass Communication aims at producing quality professionals in the fields of Print,New Media, Public Relations, Advertising, Communication Theory and Research, Radio & Television Production, Drama & Film Production and other related fields.

Programme Objectives

BS (Hons.) Mass Communication is a four-year (08 semesters) Programme comprising of 96 credit hours.

Programme Objectives are:

  1. To produce graduates with both academic knowledge and professional skills for integrated media
  1. To provide students with strong theoretical and conceptual understanding of the field ofmass communication
  2. To improve written, oral, and broadcasting skills of the students
  3. To enable students to conduct research related to communication, especially masscommunication
  4. To enhance professional and ethical values related to the mass communication.
